Hello!
I'm a communist from Russia, Moscow. My name is Mikail Ahundov. I'm 27 years old.

I want to make horizontal connections between ordinary communists from India and Russia (Soviet Union). Here we have too little information about your life, struggle and work. But we must work together, since the strength of the communist movement is in its internationality.

Soon I will become a member or Communist Party of Russian Federation (www.kprf.ru). It is the main Russian communist party. And I want to speak with ordinary Indian communists, marxists about their activity. Let's start exchanging our experience. We can exchange text, video, picture materials. We need to know your news.

I'm interested in your new left books, newspapers, articles.

My friends and I value books of Ivan Efremov, a Russian science fiction writer. He was a genuine communist. He taught us that there is a deep mental connection between Russian and Indian culture, and we should struggle together.

My letter is inofficial. May be you know some Engish-speaking Indian communists who could be interested to talk with a communist from Russia?

Dear Sirs,
May I share few thoughts that appeared in my mind after seeing the news that price of each M.P to vote in Fav. of Congress will be Rs 25 C yesterday and to day it is 30C. The date of 22 will fetch as much as 100 C let us hope.
Now from where the money will come?, who will transport with out the attention of C.B.I. and I.T?

Where the amount will be kept all are Million dollar questions.

The next question arise within me is
Suppose a foreign country, you can hope Pakistan delivers Rs 10,000 crores to each M.P and say that they want the Indian Parliament on lease with them, what our M.P.s do?

Secondly, If all the business men and top richest men wish to have india in their clutch and offer 100,000 Crores delivered once in Six months, will our M.P.s accept?

The present people should realize where we stand and Politicians should think of our nation. Will the do????

Please see our nation.
There are 80% Indians poor who need breakfast when they rise and few Chappaties when they retire for bed. Who will assure this?

Please take the Country on the right path.

Regards
Ramachandran

Kerala-Marxists    19 September 2007 12:16
Hi Comrades,
It is nice to see more and more revolutionary parties using cyber space. Especially online - discussions. There are many Marxist like , who could not agree fully with any one of the existing parties claiming as Marxist. There is not enough exchanges between these parties and no formal forum for their workers/sympathizers to know and share ideas. More over them have a common cause: to learn Marxism and its growth trajectory, they had many books to loan each other, many pointers or source of information to provide each other.
About nandhigram : I believe it is unfortunate from the ML groups not to take care distance them selves from the BJP, and TMC . They wasted a good opportunity to start a dialog on where Leftist West Bengal is moving and what are the alternatives before it. Even now WB govt. is not following a neoliberal agenda in terms of empowering the people, investments in agriculture, attitude towards social sector etc, food subsidies etc. WB agriculture sector is not heavily affected and not many farmer suicides are reported. Land is still being redistributed among the poor, even though surplus land will soon be exhausted. Land concentration ratio in west Bengal is still far less. These are the parameter with which we have been criticizing other neo liberal govt whether in Kerala, AP or in other countries.

The current issue is not that CPM has embraced neo liberalism in WB. But that in the neo liberal India, the state govt. are constrained in following a pro people , leftist agenda. CPM being accustomed to work within the limits and provide benefits to people in the past, has not yet realized the increasing constraints in that path.

The ML groups should have started a dialogue from this point, first by acknowledging the achievements of WB (even though far limited when compared to the real fruits of socialism), but significant when compared to other states. Second by distancing from rightist forces, third make pro people suggestions like “a commune (society) of thsoe who had to vacate the land or loose job should have 10-20% stake on the premises built on the land for ever. It should be non transferable right administered by the a commune of them.". I am not a fool to think that such suggestions will be approved. But It will ensure dialogue based on the very right of the people while distancing from petty bourgeoisie mindset - sticking to land.

I read with interest your analysis on Nandigram and your reason to work with reactionary TMC and its leader Mamta.

What baffels me as an independent Marxis Leninist( till not a card holder of any party) is that you are eager and ready to work and hug the reactionaries but have a kind of perpetual enemity and distruct with other CR groups......why soesnt a UF tactics be worked out first among the varoius CR groups.

Lal Salam

arphius    28 June 2007 19:52
Com. Shekhar , everybody knows Bhumi Uchhed pratirodh committe in Nandigram is led by SUBHENDU ADHIKARY a chamcha of reactionary (i don't know your view on it)Mamata Banerjee(TMC)& You have no strong hold in nandigram ,now according to your 'temporary tactic' you are working under the leadership of rulling class party TMC at Nandigram to expose revisionist charecter of CPI(M),. OK but question is, whether it is a Leninist path or not? if we remember the line of 'BLOODY SUNDAY', the bolsheviks were with the people never left them but repeatedly warned about the wrong line & reactionary charecter of leadership. But your leader are praising Mamata Banerjee & working under the leadership of 'REACTIONARY TMC'. It is analogous to just as CPI(M) have made temporary alliance with CONGRESS to expose BJP.
Now the next point you uttered word " STRONG BELIEVE" it not stand with Marxism. Truth comes out from the facts, But believing on future stand of your party may give some idelist respite to you, but i believe in not to believe but to searh ther facts. Charu majumder believed that 'INDIA WILL BE LIBERETED WITH IN 1975'. you know what is the end of that believe. But your party believes IN CM's anti marxist's philosophy, so you.
I believe that you will rectify yourself in future & express it publicly.

Hi Arphius!
There was mistake in my last sentence of the my last message. It should be like this.
I strongly believe that the party is not going to permanently sail with Trinamool or in that case with any other opposition ruling class party with which it is associated during agitations.

sekhar    20 May 2007 16:13
Hello Mr Orphius!
I felt strange reading your opinion on the stand taken by WB commiitte of CPI(ML-ND). I did not find any thing wrong in it. This party has long been telling that it would work with opposition parties on burning problems of the people when ever such necessity arises. Present Nanndigram struggle is a good occasion to expose revisionist treacherous tactics towards the people of India. Nandigram carnage has been widely condemned by so many intellectuals even who sympathize CPI(M) and came to streets. And not only Trinamool is involved in it and there are so many other mass organizations pertaining to different walks of life. So it would not be a meaningful tactic to keep away from Nandigram movement simply because of Trinamool Congress. The ND party has already published many articles about the class character of Trinamool and it is with the same opinion even now that it is nothing but a ruling class party working for the sake of those who have been exploiting the people of the nation. So there is no point to point out taking out agitations as a partner of a front in which opposition ruling class party is involved. This tactic is well appreciated in Indian as well as other 3rd world countries. Keeping away from mass struggles simply because it is associated with opposition ruling class party would keep us away from the main stream of the people's struggles because nowadays no struggle is being taken out without the participation of some or other ruling class party. So please try to understand the temporary tactic fallowed by the state committee of ND of WB. and I strongly believe that the party is going to permanently sail with Trinamool or in that case any other ruling class party.

Your state committe of West Bengal appears strange, when Pradeep banerjee & Somnath Chatterjee ( So called freestyle naxalite Leader)with some self damanding leaders made alliance with Mamta Banerjee, you have written many articles about this & you are blaming some ML groups for indulging them, now you are with Mamata banerjee in West Bengal but you have forgotten just what you said previously . you never tries justifying two attitudes. it is a perfect hypocracy, now the Mamata is trying to burrie the peoples initiative against left front & as well as impirialism , your leaders are helping them. in your report on vsit of nandigram you are consciously avoid the role of Trinamul in the name of Bhumi Uchhed Pratirodh Committe. thank you I hope in future you will correct yourself from your present mistake.-arphiu_01@yahoo.co.in
