A team of communist revolutionaries working in the districts of South Orissa has joined the Party. After extensive discussions with a delegations of the Central Committee of CPI(ML)-New Democracy, the Orissa comrades decided to join the Party.

In a joint statement statement signed on January 13, 2002, Orissa comrades expressed their full agreement with the basic documents of the Party i.e., the Programme, Path, Constitution and other policy documents, and party’s strategic and tactical line.

After this unity a three member Orissa Provincial Organizing Committee was constituted to organize the Party in Orissa. Orissa comrades are currently working in the tribal areas of four districts of South Orissa.
