IFTU National Committee strongly condemns raid by the Punjab police at the house of Com. Kulwinder Singh Waraich.

Com. Kulwinder Waraich is a prominent leader of the working class in Punjab, member of the IFTU National Committee and president of Punjab State Committee of IFTU.

Police raid at the house of Com. Waraich seems to be an attempt to silence the growing mass protests in Punjab against lock down on protests and workers growing participation in these protests.

IFTU NC demands action against police officer who ordered the raid and calls upon IFTU units and workers to protest against this high-handed police action.

IFTU NC also condemns Congress govt. of Captain Amrinder Singh for suppressing political dissent.
